Replacing a watch strap? Sounds difficult...
We'll explain how to replace it in an easy-to-understand way!

Watch Strap Method
Replacing a watch strap is often thought to be highly specialized and difficult, but in fact, it can be done quite easily.

If you refer to the manual sheet enclosed with the product or this page, you can replace the watch strap yourself as soon as it arrives.

For first-timers, it takes about 5 to 10 minutes, but once you get used to it, you can replace it in about 1 to 2 minutes. So, even customers who have been hesitant to change the belt until now, please give it a try.

You can change the watch strap to match various scenes and fashions, allowing you to always wear your favorite watch.

Step 1: Let's measure the size of the watch belt

Measure your watch strap size
If you do not know the size of the belt when replacing it, you will not be able to perform the replacement work.

A belt that does not fit properly cannot be attached to the watch if it is too large, and if it is too small, there is a risk that it will come off the watch belt and fall. To avoid such issues, make sure to check the correct size of the belt.

Measuring the size is easy. Measure the size of the belt attachment part (lug) to the nearest 1mm using a ruler or similar tool.

Step 2: Remove the belt

Remove the originally attached belt.

Remove the part called the "spring bar" of the belt using a special tool called a "spring bar remover."
*When purchasing a watch belt, a spring bar remover is included, so please rest assured.

The method of removing the belt varies slightly depending on whether there are holes in the lug part of the watch. First, please check your watch.

① If there is no hole in the lug
Insert the V-shaped side of the spring bar tool into the gap between the lug and the belt, hook it onto the groove of the spring bar, press down, and slide the belt off.

②If there is a hole in the lug
Insert the I-shaped side of the spring bar remover into the lug hole, push in the spring bar, and slide the belt to remove it.
*Please be careful as the spring bar may pop out at this time.

Step 3: Install the new belt

☆Normal type installation method

① Hook one side of the spring bar into the hole on the inside of the lug.
Hook the spring bar into the mounting hole (recessed part) inside the lug.

② Press down the opposite side of the spring bar to attach the belt.
Hold the watch and the strap firmly by hand. Use the V-shaped side of the spring bar tool to press down the opposite side of the spring bar hooked into the hole.

While pressing down, slide the belt towards the lug and hook the spring bar into both holes of the recessed part.

③Check that the installation is complete
Let's check if the belt fits snugly into the lug. Pull both ends of the belt to see if it comes off. If it doesn't come off, the replacement is complete.

☆How to install NATO type (pass-through strap)

① Attach only the spring bar to the watch body

② Pass the belt through the gap between the watch and the spring bar.
Insert the surface of the belt (the longer side) from the 12 o'clock side of the watch, pull it out from the 6 o'clock side, and pass it to the back of the watch.

③ Pass the surface threaded through the clock to the metal fitting on the back side (the shorter one)

④Check that the installation is complete
Pull the watch strap from both sides to remove any slack, and the installation is complete.

With the above method, the watch strap can be easily replaced.

It can be attached to almost all watches except for some with special lug shapes or products with special bodies.
