This time's staff introduction: Sonoyama-san

― First, please introduce yourself.

Sonoyama:

I am currently in charge of customer service at the store and product manufacturing in the pet supplies department.

In the pet supplies department, we use a cord called "paracord" to braid pet leashes and make ID tags.

I originally liked customer service work, and I requested to work at the store myself.

Recently, I have been gradually studying to deepen my knowledge of leather, and I think that if customers can learn about the materials and the makers' thoughts, they will enjoy it even more.

― Please tell us about your favorite case you are currently using!

Sonoyama:

I combine a simple clear case and a genuine leather shoulder strap with a silver padded ribbon smartphone ring.

It looks very cute, and I wanted to use it in combination. Also, I wanted to experience Japanese leather, so I chose an embossed earphone case made with Himeji leather as an accent.

― Is there a point you keep in mind when thinking about combinations?

Sonoyama:

Since I usually wear unique fashion items, I intentionally choose simple colors for my smartphone case to balance the overall look.

That said, I choose simple yet impactful pieces that can be the main focus, so I really like them.

― What do you find attractive about the case you use regularly?

Sonoyama:

I tend to forget things, so having a shoulder strap has reduced that. Also, when I'm with my child, having both hands free is very helpful.

It looks cute and stands out when I take photos, and when I go to the nursery, the kids always notice it (laughs).

― Is there a point to today's fashion?

Sonoyama:

This year, I'm really drawn to grape-like colors, and I base my choices on that color. I see it often, so I naturally end up picking it up.

― Is there anything you pay attention to when coordinating your smartphone case with your clothes?

Sonoyama:

I prefer clothing with sharp colors, so I choose smartphone cases that stand out well while coordinating the overall outfit.

I focus on colors that are not too flashy but provide a moderate accent.
